Showcasing Hoja: A South Pearl Gem

As part of a project to highlight small businesses on South Pearl Street, I had the pleasure of photographing Hoja, a neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Hoja is more than just a café, it’s a community hub where the community gathers to enjoy delicious, homestyle meals made from scratch.

Hoja’s menu is thoughtfully crafted to accommodate everyone, offering extensive vegan and gluten-free options without sacrificing flavor. The restaurant prides itself on using real ingredients, and their kitchen turns out hearty breakfast burritos, flavorful chilaquiles.

Through my photography, I aimed to highlight not just the food but the sense of community that Hoja brings to South Pearl Street, a place where good food and great company come together.
